🛡️ Job Duties (What You Will Do)
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within a hospital psychiatric environment:
🔐 Access Control & Security Monitoring
- Control entry and exit points
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
- Identify suspicious behaviour or unsafe situations
🚨 Patient Safety & Protection
- Escort patients within and outside hospital premises
- Assist staff with aggressive or uncontrolled patients
- Prevent patient abscondment and injuries
📋 Reporting & Administration
- Record incidents and patient movements
- Report all security-related issues to management
- Maintain accurate security logs and documentation
🏥 Operational Support
- Support ward operational managers
- Help ensure safe and secure hospital operations
- Prevent adverse incidents and legal risks
